Books are the lives we don’t have time to live.
Here at the EAR, we take reading very seriously! Our library has several activities designed to encourage reading and literacy while being as fun and engaging as possible. They include stimulating activities such as Storytime, Library Challenges, Reader of the Month, the Spooky Challenge, Book Club. These activities begin in early Nursery to continue to grade 12.
With a collection of nearly 23,000 titles, the library is a Hub of learning open to the whole EAR community. Our collection encompasses fiction and non-fiction books as well as periodicals, reference books, and even a few DVDs and Audiobooks on CD. Our collection is split between the Main Library and the Library for ECC and Elementary School. While most of the library is in English, our collection also includes volumes in German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian. Our books and periodicals are available through our online catalog, and students can browse our collection and reserve any reading materials online. We seek to play an integral part in the learning process and are always collaborating with classroom teachers and students in units, lessons, projects, and assignments.
We send weekly newsletters to our community, and if you haven’t seen the last one click here
